EVS And Infection Prevention Council

The EVS And Infection Prevention Council provides networking and learning opportunities for HIDA member companies that manufacture and distribute environmental services supplies and equipment into healthcare facilities across the healthcare continuum. Environmental services have always been an integral part of patient care, and the COVID-19 pandemic amplified their importance. This council facilitates open dialogue among distributors, manufacturers, providers, GPOs, and IDNs to advance the field.

The Facility Health Champion Award

The Facility Health Champion Award recognizes Environmental Services (EVS) leaders who are elevating healthcare and the EVS profession through collaboration, innovation, and creative problem-solving in partnership with the supply chain.

Developed by HIDA's Environmental Services Council, a collective of healthcare sector supply chain leaders, our recognition award emphasizes the significance of solid partnerships between EVS leaders, distributors, manufacturers, and other key stakeholders. We value the collaborative efforts that contribute to facility health.
