David Myers To Receive Sasen Leadership Award

Alexandria, VA –The Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) announced today that David Myers, President and Chief Operating Officer of Concordance Healthcare Solutions, is the recipient of the 2019 John F. Sasen Leadership Award. The award recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership, commitment, and service to the healthcare products distribution industry and HIDA.

“Dave is an exceptional leader and innovator in our industry,” said HIDA President & CEO Matthew J. Rowan. “We are appreciative of his strong leadership within HIDA as past chairman and current board member.”

Myers has served on the HIDA Board of Directors since 2010 and was elected Chairman in 2014. Previously, he served on the Hospital Advisory Council starting in 2001. He assumed his current position with Concordance in 2018 after the merger of Kreisers and MMS with Seneca Medical, which Myers joined in 1999. He has held a number of leadership positions in sales, marketing and customer relations.

Myers is an active volunteer within his northwest Ohio community and serves on boards of several organizations. He and his wife, Rebecca, have three children.

The 2019 John F. Sasen Leadership Award will be presented at the Chairman’s Dinner at the 2019 HIDA Streamlining Healthcare Expo & Business Exchange, September 24-26, Chicago, IL.
