Kathryn DiBitetto Joins HIDA As Vice President Of Congressional Relations

Alexandria, VA, May 22, 2023 – The Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) today announced the hiring of Kathryn DiBitetto as Vice President of Congressional Relations. DiBitetto previously served as a government relations consultant to HIDA for the past 18 months.

“We have seen first-hand how Kathryn’s deep experience, leadership, and knowledge of healthcare issues advances HIDA’s work on Capitol Hill,” said HIDA President and CEO Matthew J. Rowan.

Previously, Kathryn served as the Senior Vice President of Government Relations for 340B Health, a national non-profit association of 1,400 hospitals and health systems participating in a federal drug pricing program. In addition to her advocacy responsibilities, she was a member of the senior leadership team, responsible for strategic planning and other organization-wide duties.

Prior to joining 340B Health, she served on Capitol Hill as Senior Legislative Assistant for Rep. Mike McMahon, for whom she focused on major legislation such as the Affordable Care Act and the 9-11 Health and Compensation Act.

Kathryn received her master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University and bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida.
