Medical Distributors Donate Over $15 Million In Ukraine Aid

Alexandria, VA, April 28, 2022 – Members of the Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) have contributed more than $15.75 million in cash and in-kind donations to humanitarian relief efforts in Ukraine.

“We are proud that our industry can partner with humanitarian relief organizations to deliver critical medical supplies to the Ukrainian people,” said HIDA President and CEO Matthew J. Rowan.

Members of the Health Industry Distributors Association and the HIDA Educational Foundation have donated more than 400 pallets of medical supplies, distributed to Ukraine through relief organizations. Among the donations of medical supplies are an estimated:

• 400,000 N95 Masks
• 100,000 Bandages
• 70,000 Nitrile Gloves
• 40,000 Syringes
• 30,000 Isolation Gowns
