Fire Safety

Every year, fires in the U.S. result in thousands of deaths and injuries, as well as billions of dollars in damages. Fires in a healthcare setting are particularly hazardous because of the presence of volatile substances, such as compressed gases, and the risks of evacuating vulnerable patients.

As a sales rep, you should know the risks of fire, including those unique to a healthcare setting. You will also need to know what basic steps to take to prevent fires and how to act safely in the event of an emergency.
